Filthy Rich Writer Review — A Newbie’s Thoughts

The year of 2020 has been filled with many lessons. One of the loudest lessons being that our “secure jobs” were not as secure as we’d believed.

I don’t have to tell you this. You’re here looking for reviews about a copywriting course, which means you’re considering a career change or a side hustle to add to your repertoire.

The simple truth is, we need money, and we can no longer rely on someone else to meet that need.

You’ve stumbled across the Filthy Rich Writer course, aka the Comprehensive Copywriting Academy, and you have one big question: is this the tool that will give me control of my financial destiny?

I took the plunge and bought the course on November 7th, 2020. As of today, it has been approximately one week since I bought the course.

My Week 1 Impression: Yes. This course will give you the tools needed to become a successful, paid copywriter.

• It has everything you need to be successful. Nicki wasn’t joking when she named it the Comprehensive Copywriting Academy. This course is packed with information! In addition to information on copywriting, it also goes into detail about the business side of copywriting, which is crucial for building an income — and isn’t that why we’re all here?
• You can make progress in as little as 30 minutes a day. I love the format of this course. The modules are thorough, but they have been broken down into bite-sized, easily-digested pieces of information. There are also worksheets and “homework” included to help make sure you understand and practice. It lives up to its “academy” name!
• There are no mandatory upsells. It annoys me SO MUCH when you buy a course and are immediately met with a plethora of upsells. With the CCA, the basic purchase gives you everything you need. There is one upsell, but Nicki outright says it is not required to be successful.
• The one optional upsell is totally worth it. There is only one upsell, and it is a bonus course related to increasing your productivity. I decided to purchase it because I know my tendency to have “shiny object syndrome.” I am serious about making this work, so I wanted all the help I could get. I have completed this bonus course, and it was filled with many tips for keeping yourself organized, focused, and on track.
• The members-only Facebook group is unparalleled. I’ve been in my fair share of Facebook groups, but this one is one of the best. Members support, encourage, and cheer for each other. They provide worthwhile advice and share their experiences. They give valuable copywriting critique. I also find it very encouraging to watch as student after student shares their excitement at landing a new job or client.
• The course teaches multiple ways to earn money. Nicki provides so much valuable content. One of the ways she does so is by covering multiple ways you can earn money. Want to get on the fast track to earning with copywriting? She’s got you covered.
• There is a 30 day money-back, “it works if you work it” guarantee. This does have some stipulations. It’s not a “glance it over and give up” guarantee. It’s a, “it works if you work it” guarantee. I admire this. It means Nicki knows she offers a quality program that works if its followed, and she’s willing to put her money where her mouth is to prove it!

My first impression of this course is that it is a good one. I’m very happy with my purchase thus far, and I look forward to continuing this journey.

Despite recently moving 1,200 miles to a new, unfamiliar town, I kept up with the course and the ongoing support/education from Nicki and the Facebook Group. I have officially booked my first client, which covers the cost of the course!
